Hey — here’s another free DJ mix I recorded this past Sunday. It’s kind of a Sunday-afternoon type mix. A little hip hop, a little drum and bass, and some trip-hop type stuff. Actually, I hesitate to put it up here — because I’m not that big of a fan of the mix. But I want to know what you think. Leave a comment below.

Grandmaster DJ Royal is now offering free dj mixes for download from his website. His dance floor friendly style is similar to that of Fatboy Slim, Freddy Fresh, The Chemical Brothers, Bodyrockers, and others, with a heavier pop influence.

Oregon-based Grandmaster DJ Royal has begun offering DJ mixes for free streaming play or download from his website. The DJ mixes can be accessed at: http://grandmasterdjroyal.com/category/free-dj-mixes/.

Grandmaster DJ Royal plays a mix of house, big beat, mash-ups, and pop music he calls Big Beat Bastard Pop. The style is similar to that of Fatboy Slim, Freddy Fresh, The Chemical Brothers, Propellerheads, Freestylers, Bodyrockers, or DJ Dan, but with more pop music blended in. The result is a dance-friendly, funky blend of tunes that keep the dance floor filled for hours.

Royal — as he’s sometimes called — describes the way he chooses his music, “I’ve always loved music and dancing. These styles of music draw me in by the way they almost force my body to move. So how do I pick my music? In short: If it makes me dance, I’ll play it. That’s how I find music that appeals almost universally to nearly any taste or preference.”

Made a new song mostly in Apple Garage Band. It’s called American Big Beat Revolution. It’s in the style of Fatboy Slim and Freddy Fresh.
